Customization

The settings.txt file found in the 'SlideshowData' folder has information included on how to edit it.

Adding/Removing Images
  • Copy the images you wish to add into the 'SlideshowData/images/' folder.
  • Delete any images from the 'SlideshowData/images/' folder that you do not want.
  • Version 1.1.0 or later: Name all of the images in the format 'image (X).jpg' where X is a number starting from 1 up to 999. To do this easily in Windows Explorer simply select all of your images, press the F2 function key and enter 'image' as the name. Then rename the file 'image.jpg' to 'image (1).jpg'.
  • Earlier versions: Name all of the images in the format 'imageXXX.jpg' where XXX is a number starting from 001 up to 999.
  • Edit the settings.txt file in the 'SlideshowData' folder and change the TotalNum value to the total number of images in your 'images' folder.
Choosing Nyx menu background image
  • When the theme is running, open the Image Viewer by pressing a thumbnail, and then press the options button on the lower bar on the far right (tap to make the bar appear if it is not visible).
  • 'Set as background' will set the image you are currently viewing as the background when the Nyx menu is opened.
  • 'Use current as background' will use the current image you viewing in the Image Viewer or Slideshow (or the last image viewed if you are in the thumbnail gallery section).

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I open the Nyx menu (Main menu)?

To open the main menu, press the small 'X' button in the top right of the Thumbnail Gallery, or press the square icon in the very top right of your screen to access the Multi-tasking menu.

All of the text reads 'undefined', what should I do?

This occurs because you are using language which has not been translated. To solve this problem, open the language.txt file found in the 'SlideshowData' folder, and change the langId near the top from 'en-UK' to the ISO 639-1 language code (generally 2 letters), e.g. fr = French, de = German, pl = Polish.
