Theme Installation

The names of the 'Walkman.swf' file and 'Walkman' folder may be slightly different for different localised versions.

Install as Stand-alone

1. Rename 'Walkman.swf' to 'theme_bg2.swf' or 'theme_bg3.swf'
2. Copy the 'theme_bgX.swf' and the 'Walkman' folder to LGAPP/Media/swf/theme/ using EFS Explorer.
3. Disconnect & restart your phone, select the Silver theme (theme_bg2) or Fish theme (theme_bg3)

Install with Theme Manager 3.2

1. Copy the 'Walkman.swf' and the 'Walkman' folder to X:/Themes/Walkman/ (where X is the drive letter of your memory card)
2. Add the following line to your Themelist.txt file (the FileName will be slightly different for localised versions):
   <Walkman ThemeName="Walkman Theme" Location="0" FolderName="Walkman" FileName="Walkman.swf" />
3. Disconnect & restart Theme Manager

Install with CYL 0.6.5

1. Copy the 'Walkman' and the 'Walkman' folder to X:/CYLThemes/Walkman/ (where X is the drive letter of your memory card). Note: the FileName may be different for localised versions.
2. Add the following line to your themelist.xml file: <Theme ThemeName="Walkman Theme" FolderName="Walkman" FileName="Walkman.swf" />

Resources Installation

Make sure you have a full backup before installing any of the PXO or PAF resources. Some PXO files may be incompatible with certain firmwares.

Install the Dialpad (Standalone)

1. Copy the 'Dialpad.swf' from the Resources/ folder to LGAPP/Media/swf/ using EFS Explorer
2. Disconnect & restart your phone

Install the Dialpad (CYL 0.6.5)

1. Rename the 'Dialpad.swf' file inside the Resources/ folder to 'WalkmanDialpad.swf'
2. Copy the 'WalkmanDialpad.swf' from the Resources/ folder to X:/CYLThemes/Dialpads/
3. Add the following line to your themelist.xml file: <Dialpad DialpadName="Walkman Dialpad" FolderName="Dialpads" Dialpadfile="Walkman.swf" />

Install the other SWF Resources

1. Copy the 'Calandar.swf' and 'photoViewer.swf' files from the Resources/ folder to LGAPP/Media/swf/ using EFS Explorer.
2. Disconnect & restart your phone.

Using the Walkman Theme for the LG KU990 Viewty

Changing the screen orientation

Press the Jog Wheel Up/Down to switch between &portrait orientations.

Changing Wallpapers

Drag the white stripe in the upper area of the screen to switch between wallpapers.

Changing the Clock Mode (24/12 Hour)

Press the clock at the top-center of the screen to switch between 24 hour & 12 hour modes.

Widgets Display

Press the C (Delete) key or the End call key depending on your settings to show and hide the widget display when on the main screen. You can choose which widget is active in the Theme Settings dialog.

Wallpaper Gallery

Press the thumbnails button to the right side of the clock. Press a thumbnail to set it as the current background. Use the left and right arrow buttons at the bottom corners of the screen to switch between pages. Press the thumbnail button near the clock again to exit.

Changing Walkman Theme settings

Press the small settings to the left of the clock to show the settings dialog, you can change the widget, clock text color and icon background color as well as other options.

Default Walkman Theme settings

All of the theme settings such as clock text color, default screen orientation and also the arrangement of the icons can be changed in the Config.txt file.

Customisation

All settings are contained in the Config.txt file in the Walkman/ folder.

Adding wallpapers

To add backgrounds, you will need two versions of your chosen image for the landscape and portrait mode. The images must have the following sizes:

• Portrait image: 240x400 pixels
• Landscape Image: 400x240 pixels

Then opens the Backgrounds.txt file in the 'Walkman' folder: and the following line between the two <WalkmanBackgrounds> lines:

• <image portraitFile="PORTRAIT_FILE.jpg" landscapeFile="LANDSCAPE_FILE.jpg" />

Replace 'PORTRAIT_FILE.jpg' with the filename of your portrait image, and replace 'LANDSCAPE_FILE.jpg' with the filename of your landscape image.

Adding Widgets

n order for your widget to be compatible with the Walkman Theme, it must have a button with the instance name 'btn' in it's root, which will be used to drag the widget.
The widget should also be centered on x:0, y:0.

• Save your widget SWF and any other required files into the 'Walkman/Widgets/' folder.
• Add the following line to the Widgets.txt file in the 'Walkman' folder:
  <widget name="WIDGET_NAME" file="FILE_NAME.swf" />

Replace 'WIDGET_NAME' with the name of the widget, and replace 'FILE_NAME.swf' with the filename of your widget.

Upgrading/Reinstalling the Walkman Theme

You do not need to delete all of your old Walkman Theme files before reinstalling or upgrading to newer version, you can just overwrite the old files with the new ones.
